Do you have a store or showroom?

 We do not have a walk-in bakery or showroom. However, local pickup is available and will be handled at the main office of
our facility.

How long do the cakes stay fresh?

Our rum cakes stay fresh for 2–3 weeks at room temperature, thanks to the natural preserving qualities of the rum. For best results, store them in a cool, dry place. Refrigeration extends their shelf life, but it may cause them to dry out over time.



Can the cakes be frozen?

Yes! Our rum cakes freeze beautifully. When ready to enjoy, thaw at room temperature. The cake will stay moist and full of flavor.



How long will shipping take?

We bake fresh cakes daily and allow up to 72 hours to have your order ready for shipping. We ship Monday through Thursday via UPS, which typically takes 1–3 business days (excluding weekends). Express shipping is available at an added UPS-calculated cost. Please allow extra time during holidays, as we cannot guarantee exact delivery dates.



Where are you located?

We are located in Troy, NY. Troy is a historic city located along the Hudson River in upstate New York, about seven miles north of Albany, NY.



Do you offer local pickup? What are the pickup hours?

Yes, local pickup is available and will be handled at the main office of our facility. Pickup hours are 9 am–4:30 PM
Mon–Fri.







Do you deliver?

Yes! We offer local delivery within a 20-mile radius for a fee. You can also order through DoorDash or find select products on Amazon.com.







What shipping carrier do you use?

We ship via UPS.



How much does shipping cost for online orders?

Shipping is calculated based on package size
and destination.



Where do you ship?

We currently ship within the continental
United States.

Do you have holiday shipping deadlines?

Yes, we post holiday shipping deadlines in advance. Please check our website or use our Stamps.com tracker for updates.



Do you ship internationally?

Currently, we are unable to ship to Alaska,
Hawaii, Puerto Rico, or international destinations.







How many people can I serve from one cake?

Each 2llb. bundt cake serves approximately 8–10 people, our 1lb cake serves 6-10 people, and our personal-sized mini rum cake is perfect for 1–2 people. Of course, it all depends on how you slice it!











Are the cakes safe for children?

Yes, the alcohol in the cake is baked in and used primarily for flavor. However, we recommend parental discretion.















Are there nut-free options available?

While most of our cakes do not contain nuts, we are not a nut-free facility.



I'm having an event and would love to offer Goodway Gourmet treats! How may I do that?

We’d love to be part of your event! Please contact us in advance to discuss custom or large orders.



Do you offer a subscription option?

Yes we do! There is a once-a-month subscription option you can choose during the checkout. It is offered at a 10% discount and can be canceled anytime.







What’s your refund policy?

Due to the perishable nature of our products, we do not offer refunds. However, if there is an issue with your order, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery.











How can I get a rum cake?

You can enjoy our cakes by ordering online, picking up locally, or through DoorDash and Amazon. You can also find us at fairs, festivals, farmers markets, craft shows, dessert expos, and food conventions. We update our vendor locations weekly—sometimes even daily—right here on our website, Instagram, and Facebook. Follow us to see where we’ll be next!











Do you offer any options for customers with Celiac disease?

Yes, we do! We understand how important it is to avoid gluten for those with Celiac disease. That’s why we offer a selection of gluten-free treats made with gluten-free ingredients. However, please note that our kitchen is not a certified gluten-free facility. While we take careful steps to avoid cross-contact—such as using separate utensils, mixing bowls, and prep areas—there is still a risk of trace gluten exposure.

Your health and safety are very important to us. If you have Celiac disease or a severe gluten allergy, we recommend consulting with your doctor before consuming our products.
