What began as a simple school fundraiser to support Redemption Christian Academy, an international boarding school in Troy, NY, quickly rose into a local favorite—serving up everything from cookies and challah bread to wedding cakes and pies, all made from scratch.
Over the years, we’ve sprinkled our baked goodness across the Northeast, but one treat stole the spotlight: the Rum Cake.
Now known as Goodway Gourmet—Home of The World’s Best Rum Cakes, we’ve spent the last 15+ years perfecting our signature dessert. Moist, buttery, and bold with a secret island touch, it’s the unforgettable bite that changed everything.
While our rum cakes shine, we still bake a few classics each week—because tradition and good baking never go out of style.
And through it all, a portion of our proceeds continues to help support the students and mission of Redemption Christian Academy.
